Faith Grind Ministries presents “Meet the Grinders”
Are you interested in pitching your business or ministry at the Faith Grind Ministries Meet the Grinders Pitch Competition?
Season 1 will take place live on Facebook @faithgrindministries starting Monday September 27th and every Monday after until November 8th at 7pm EST
Each week several entrepreneurs will pitch their business by faith in hopes of winning seed funding for their business. Meet the Grinders Pitch Competition is a virtual platform where faith-based entrepreneurs showcase how faith impacts their grind in the marketplace.

Pitch Process
All seven (7) entrepreneurs will present their original business idea or concept before a panel of judges in hopes of winning $1000 or more in pre-seed funding. Each presenter has five (5) minutes in which to make the best impression to win. While judges may ask questions directly after each pitch, viewers are allowed to vote for the entrepreneur they think did the best, which will be taken into consideration when choosing the winner.

Pitch Eligibility & Requirements
To qualify, all applicants must be members in good standing of a local church and a startup or in the early stage of development. Submit the following documents so eligibility can be established

Name of participant, business, and title

A clear headshot

Resume

A reference letter from your Pastor

Articles of Organization or DBA and EIN#

Your business goals (Habakkuk 2:2)

Pitch Presentation
In your pitch, kindly provide:

Founder or co-founders’ names
-
Name of biz/ministry
-
One God given business idea or concept
-
Clear mission & vision
-
How are you using your gift to be a blessing to God’s kingdom/others?

How "faith" has helped you in your biz/ministry
-
What would pre-seed funding from Faith Grind Ministries do for your biz/ministry
Pitch Rules
-
Presenters must be on time, no exceptions
-
No distractions or noisy background allowed
-
Only business casual attire is acceptable
-
No more than two presenters are allowed
-
Only the one (1) business idea or concept submitted is allowed
-
Only your original business idea or concept is allowed
Pitch Preliminary Session
There will be a preliminary session including the panel of judges 1 week before the event virtually at 7pm EST., which will determine the presentation line-up and running order of the competition.
Pitch Prize
The pre-seed funding prize will be awarded on the night of the competition to the winning biz/ministry for kingdom building. The individual recipient(s) of prize money will be responsible for the tax implications of their winnings. FGM Pitch Competition prize money payments may be considered ordinary income by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Reproduction
By agreeing to participate in Meet the Grinders you are consenting to the public distribution or reproduction of your likeness for public relations and promotional purposes only. No confidentiality is guaranteed in any way!
Acknowledgement
Entrants acknowledge that by participating in Meet the Grinders, they have consented to the rules of the Faith Grind Ministries, FGM Meet the Grinders Pitch Competition!
